Make sure you are printing in landscape mode (as noted above). If you are but you still are seeing columns cut off, go to Page Setup in your browser and print at a reduced percentage. Print Preview, where available, is very helpful to know how the prints are going to come out. Printing the colored backgrounds In most browsers, printing colored backgrounds is turned off by default to save toner (ink) in people’s printers. When printing Locus demographic data, it may be desirable to print the colors as an aid for evaluating different areas. In most web browsers there is a checkbox to “Print Backgrounds”. 1. Go to the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Internet Options”
  3. Click on the “Advanced” tab
  4. Scroll down to “Printing”
  5. Check “Print background colors and images
